Dr Stephen Crean

Dr Stephen Crean - B.App.Sc(Chiro), DNBCE, MCAA

Dr Crean has been in private practice since graduating in 1987 from RMIT, Melbourne. He has practised in New Zealand, South Australia, Canberra, and, , Tasmania since 1989. He has published in medical and chiropractic journals. He has organised, coordinated and volunteered as a chiropractor at many sporting events, children’s expo’s and has actively been promoting healthy lifestyles for seniors throughout southern Tasmania.

Dr Crean has travelled with Tasmanian Netball teams as their Sports Chiropractor numerous times at National events, plus for World Duathlon, Karate Nationals, and assisted at Gymnastics events in Tasmania and Sydney.

He has been actively participating in professional and regulatory positions throughout his career (he has retired from the Chiropractic Board of Australia).

Dr Crean considers himself a general chiropractor who has an interest in shoulders, knees, functional neuropathies, and TMJ. He has attended postgraduate seminars in paediatrics, extremities, radiology, TMJ, and many other techniques.

Since 2013 he has been involved in establishing sports injuries solutions , and performance enhancing strategies for the Kingborough Lions United Football Club, and the Kingborough Tigers.

Currently Dr Crean has been appointed to the Governance, Oversight, Strategic Steering Groups for Care Coordination, Streamlined Care, and Tasmanian Health Pathways projects managed by Primary Health Network Tasmania. He is also a member the Allied Health Professional Network Steering Group.

He believes that all members of our community should have the opportunity to receive a spinal care, and works for fair and engaged, integrated health care for all Australians.

Dr Randy Hoysted

Dr Randy Hoysted, B.Chiro.Sc, M.Chiro.Sc, M.CAA

Dr Randy Hoysted graduated from RMIT University in 2005, with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic Science.

She has been practicing in Victoria before joining the clinics in Hobart and Kingston.

Dr Randy uses a wide range of techniques from ‘low force’ to a more traditional manual adjusting. She has a particular interest in treating injuries associated with children, babies and infants. She has completed post-graduate courses in paediatices, and chiropractic-neurology.

Dr Randy has a strong belief that everybody, regardless of age, gender, symptoms or should have their spine at least checked by a chiropractor, especially our children who are often forgotten.

Dr Ashley Dent

Dr Ashley Dent B.Chiro.Sc, M.Chiro.Sc, M.CAA

Dr Dent graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney in 2010 where he was awarded the Ed Devereaux Award for Services to the Student Body. He uses a mix of manual and assisted techniques and has expertise in manual techniques such as Diversified and Gonstead. He has attended post-graduate seminars for gentle methods including SOT, activator, drop table and paediatric treatments. He also utilises a variety of muscle release and stretching techniques.

In Sydney Dr Dent assisted sporting teams on a regular basis perform to the best of their ability and also provided acute care when needed. He has a keen interest in sporting injuries and providing services and advice that enhances his patients’ quality of life.
